Dr. Gentile earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri.
Dr. Gentile specializes in couples therapy, eating disorders, substance abuse, post-bariatric counseling, domestic violence, depression, and anxiety. She has evening and weekend hours available.
Dr. Gentile's philosophy involves welcoming clients into a comfortable therapeutic alliance infused with respect, trust, compassion, and a bit of humor. The therapeutic approaches she utilizes are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method, Strength-Based, and Motivational Interviewing. She seeks to collaborate with clients by supporting them in gaining more adaptive and healthier coping skills to pursue greater happiness in their lives.
