Megan Klimkewicz, M.S., Counseling Intern
Megan Klimkewicz is a Graduate Student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
with Clarkson Counseling, P.C. Originally an Illinois native, Megan graduated Summa
Cum Laude from Illinois State University. She earned her M.S. in Education from the
University of New England, and currently holds a 4.0 GPA with Truman State University
in their Nationally Accredited Counselor Education Program. Megan is also pursuing
her Board Certification for Bariatric Counseling through the American Association
of Bariatric Counselors and will complete her studies Fall 2026.
Megan currently is accepting new clients on a pro bono basis due to her
internship status. She has experience with adolescents, adults, couples,
and is medically informed regarding pre- and post-surgical mental health
care following bariatric surgery. Megan is passionate about providing a
warm, supportive, and holistic focus to her clients whether they are
navigating mental health, relationship, or weight-loss issues.
