Ellen Komp is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor, having recently graduated with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has experience in a variety of settings, including community mental health centers, schools, and justice centers. Ellen’s passion is connecting with and supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. Through a person-centered approach, she is honored to walk with her clients through the challenges life brings their way.


Ellen recognizes that typical office hours can create a barrier to some who are seeking help. Due to this, Ellen is available to see clients in the evening hours and on Saturdays. Her main areas of focus are anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and emotional regulation. She utilizes a variety of techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness. She is passionate about providing care that is strengths-based and trauma-informed.
